We are an independent collective dedicated to raising the standard of relocation and integration in Switzerland.
We created the directory we wish we had.
When we moved to Switzerland, we were lost. We dealt with unresponsive rental agencies, bought the wrong insurance, and paid hidden fees for services that should have been free.
The existing "expat directories" were often just listicles of whoever paid the most for advertising. There was no curation, no verification, and no soul.
So we built this. A curated, verified list of providers who actually care about the international community. This project is currently run as a pro-bono initiative.
How we choose our Essentials.
We are picky. We only list companies that meet our "Modern Standard."
Digital-First
No fax machines. We look for providers with modern portals, apps, and digital signatures.
English-Speaking
Not just 'translates the website'. Staff must be able to advise complex topics in English.
Fair Pricing
We avoid 'Expat Taxes'. Pricing must be transparent and competitive with the local market.
