Terms for providers

1. Who these terms are for

These terms apply between Loaded AG, Klostergutstrasse 4, 8252 Schlatt TG, Switzerland ("we") and every business that has a listing on expat-services.ch ("you"), free or Premium. The directory is for businesses; you confirm that you act for your business and are allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. What we do

expat-services.ch is a directory that helps people who move to Switzerland find businesses that serve them, and lets them send you enquiries. We are not a party to any contract between you and the people who contact you, and we don't give advice on their behalf or on yours.

3. Listings

3.1 Who can be listed

Businesses that offer services to expats in Switzerland in one of our categories. You must hold every licence, permit or registration your work requires (for example cantonal admission for doctors and lawyers, or registration as an insurance intermediary) and keep it valid while you are listed.

3.2 Review before publishing

A person on our side reviews every new listing before it goes live. We check that the business exists, that it offers the services it lists and that its contact details work. Later changes to the name, categories, website or enquiry email are reviewed again; other changes go live directly. We may shorten or correct texts for clarity and consistency. If we don't publish a listing, we tell you why, and you can fix it and submit it again.

3.3 Your content

• Your listing must be accurate, current and about your own business.
• It must not break the law or anyone's rights (for example copyright, trademarks, unfair competition rules).
• Links inside listing texts are removed or marked as user content.
• No reviews or ratings. We don't publish reviews, ratings or star scores, and listings may not contain them or present testimonials as ratings.
• You allow us, free of charge and for as long as the listing is online, to publish your listing content (texts, logo, photos) on expat-services.ch, in our newsletter and through our public interface for AI assistants, and to adapt its format for that.
• With your consent, your listing can also be published on anewera.ch, a directory for AI assistants that Loaded AG also runs.

3.4 Listings we added from public information

We may list a business based on public business information before it signs up. Such a listing is free, marked as not yet claimed, and we inform the business within 30 days of it going live. The business can claim, edit or remove it. We remove it within 48 hours of a removal request. No sales offer is sent with this information; we tell you about Premium only after you claim the listing or sign up.

4. Enquiries

Enquiries from the form on your listing (or sent by an AI assistant with the sender's consent) are forwarded to your enquiry email address, which is never shown publicly. Once you receive an enquiry, you are responsible for the sender's personal data under data protection law. Use it only to answer the enquiry, and don't add senders to marketing lists without their consent. We may hold back messages that look like spam. We don't guarantee a number of enquiries.

5. Free, Premium and Featured

6. Premium subscription

6.1 Price and payment

Premium costs CHF 222 per year, paid in advance by card or another method offered at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. You receive an invoice for every payment.

6.2 Founding price

The first 50 providers who subscribe pay a founding price of CHF 149 per year. The regular price is CHF 222 per year. The founding price stays the same for every renewal as long as the subscription stays active without interruption. If the subscription ends, a new subscription is at the regular price.

6.3 Term and renewal

The subscription runs for one year from the day of payment and then renews automatically for one more year, each time, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We email you 30 days before each renewal with the date and the amount.

6.4 Cancellation

You can cancel at any time in your account (billing section). The cancellation takes effect at the end of the year you have paid for; Premium features stay active until then. We don't refund the remaining part of a year you cancel yourself. When Premium ends, your listing becomes a free listing: the website link, logo and photos are hidden, and your data is kept so you can upgrade again.

6.5 Failed payment

If a renewal payment fails and isn't completed after our reminders, Premium ends and the listing continues as a free listing.

6.6 Price changes

We may change the regular price for future years. We tell you at least 30 days before the renewal, and you can cancel before the new price applies. The founding price is not affected while your subscription stays active.

6.7 Featured

Featured includes everything in Premium. There are at most 3 Featured places per category and city, ordered by the start of the subscription; when all places are taken, you can join a waiting list. The founding price applies to Premium only. The sponsored article is written or edited by us with your input, follows our editorial rules (facts, no unsourced claims, no ratings of competitors), is published once per subscription year and stays online while the subscription is active.

7. Paid links and sponsored content

• The website link on a Premium listing is a paid placement. It carries rel="sponsored" and is labelled as such. We don't sell links as "backlinks" and make no promise about search engine rankings.
• Sponsored articles, when we offer them, are always labelled "Sponsored" and their links carry rel="sponsored".
• Premium listings are marked "Premium" and Featured listings "Featured" wherever they are shown ahead of other listings.

8. Removal, suspension and ending the listing

• You can delete your listing or account at any time. A Premium subscription then ends as described in 6.4.
• For a listing we added from public information, the business can ask for removal at any time; we remove it within 48 hours.
• We may hide or remove a listing that breaks these terms or the law, or whose information turns out to be wrong. Where reasonable, we tell you first and give you time to fix it.
• If we end your Premium subscription for a reason you are not responsible for, we refund the unused part of the year pro rata.

9. No guarantee of results

We work to keep the directory available and useful, but we don't guarantee a particular number of visits, enquiries or positions, or uninterrupted availability.

10. Liability

We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence and for indirect or consequential damage (such as lost profit) is excluded as far as the law allows. You are responsible for your listing and its content, and you hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We tell providers with an account by email at least 30 days before a change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your listing or cancel Premium before then. For Premium, changes that affect you adversely apply from your next renewal.

12. Law and place of jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Loaded AG, Schlatt TG, Switzerland.
