Distinction between "Overhours" (Hours above contract but below legal max) and "Overtime" (Hours above legal max of 45/50h).

Why this matters to Expats.

Crucial distinction. "Überstunden" (Overhours) can often be "compensated away" in your contract (i.e. you get nothing). "Überzeit" (True Overtime) is legally mandatory to be paid at 125% or time-off.
