Bulky waste in the city of Basel is collected against stickers at CHF 5 per 10 kg. Up to 10 kg goes out with the regular household round; larger loads (Grobsperrgut) are collected only on registration by phone or online form until noon the day before. Recycling parks take larger quantities: paper, scrap metal, batteries, electronics, fridges, glass and PET are free, while bulky waste, soil, polystyrene, tyres and Eternit are charged (Kanton Basel-Stadt, checked ).
