The online order goes in at least eight days ahead; a sign costs CHF 5 a day and setting up and collecting costs CHF 50, or signs are picked up at the counter up to seven working days before, against a CHF 100 deposit per address. The legal lead time is 48 hours, the reserved stretch runs from 5 to 40 metres (normally about 15) for up to three days, and a skip held longer than three days needs a public-space permit (Kanton Basel-Stadt, checked ).
